Knife Sharpening (5 knives minimum order)

At Chef Sharp we receive blunt knives from clients all over the UK and we make them fabulously sharp again.

Whether you are a Michelin starred chef or an enthusiastic home cook, sharp knives are an absolute game changer and a lot safer too. A set of really sharp, fit for purpose knives will make life in the kitchen an absolute joy and once you experience the difference, you’ll never put up with blunt knives again.

How Does it Work?

1. Send Your Knives: The vast majority of clients send us their knives via our convenient, age responsible, trackable and fully insured  “Safe Knives By Post” service.
   This tailored service involves a quick “Over 18” proof of age check at point of delivery. It’s a simple little step, but one we whole heartedly embrace and a practice we adopted from day one as part of our industry leading “Keep Kids Safe!” policy. 2. Drop-Off & Collect: If you live in the Bristol area you can drop off and collect your knives at Chef Sharp HQ. We are located in convenient, easy to find central location just off the A37 Wells Road above Totterdown. We are just outside the ULEZ zone so don’t worry about charges as we can easily be reached from all directions without passing through the Charging Zone.
   

3. Expert Sharpening: We treat each and every knife as though it were one of our own. Sharpening knives is an abrasive process that involves removing metal to create a sharp edge. Some methods are really quite aggressive and most off the shelf sharpeners people use at home do more harm than good. The Chef Sharp technique on the other hand is delicate and subtle with every step of our sharpening process carried out by our experienced hands. It does take a little longer, but its worth it and your knives will be returned sharper than the day your bought them and with as little metal removed as possible. Working in this way is best for the knife and extends its lifespan dramatically. It also gives us immense pride in our craft as we continually strive to improve the service we provide our customers and the faith they put in our service.
   

4. Safe Return: Once your knives are sharpened to perfection, we'll return them to you via our "Safe Knives By Post" Service. Before your knives are handed over the UPS courier will need to verify proof of age. It's a really quick and simple step and we know our clients thoroughly support this measure.
